Welcome to the much anticipated racing section! This is the place where you may share races/ challenge your community friends, and generally discuss your common interest in track racing! Spoiler: How to share your race 1. Finish any track. 2A. You go back to your profile, and click on ghosts. Click on the track you just rode, and copy the URL. Paste your URL to any thread of your choice. 2B. If your ghost by any chance disappeared from your ghosts list, go to the track you've ghosted, and enter /r/*username* behind the URL. Copy the URL and share your ghost in any thread of your choice. . The link will in both cases end up looking something like this: http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/225795-mario-pixels/r/stig of which the /r/ represents race, and the username tells you who's ghost it is, in this case, it's mine. Spoiler: Rules - Note that the racing section is primariiy meant to share and discuss ghosts, and not an excuse to promote your tracks in another section. Tracks can be shared here. - We expect you to behave nicely to any member (as in every other section), eventhough there is a clear difference in skill. We want people to encourage eachothers' progress at riding tracks, rather than gloating and telling other people they're bad. - All community rules apply. PS! You may encounter some extremely good, and seemingly impossible ghosts in this section. Keep in mind that a vast majority of these people use alternative methods to manipulate their ghosts. People spam the spacebar key to see whet to do next. I wouldn't say it's a vast majority who do that, tho. And it does not affect the quality as much as people make it seem. You gotta be good to understand it and what you're doing.
If you guys stumble upon some old threads regarding ghosting around the forum, notify me and i'll move them over
Damn, I forgot. Sorry. It's not. Good ghosts are too easy to make on smooth tracks, so it needs to be perfect to get featured.
Then beat it please, I figured as much but I mean if no one can beat it then why not if you see what I'm saying.
Just note that the featured ghosts thread is a user-made/controlled thing, so there will most likely be no features such as titles or database promotion related to them. I/we won't meddle much with it
I know. It's the best we have so far so we'll use it. edit: and we can't go around featuring (adding to the list) every decent ghost. hypocrisy
how did you learn to spacebar? i have tried it and haven't found anything yet? how fast do you press it?
