Why is the members of the forums so mean?

Hey, Yesterday I joined the forums, to get some advice and improve my tracks. I then put a link to my track, and I came back with only dislikes, and people telling me to kill myself Why can't people realise that they are not just talking to a computer, but a real person with real feelings? It has ruined my day.
Could we all try to be a bit nicer?

Just ignore them though, don't let those people define the FRHD community.

 

Matthew_Fuller3 yeah dont let them get to ya, some of the creators on here have gotten really cocky and play it off as "no one can take a joke" there are still fun members on the forums

Thanks, I really didn't care until they started following me around and dislike my tracks:/

 

everyone has those people who just dont like them for some reason, someone out in the forums doesnt like me, not sure who but theres gotta be someone lol but yeah dont let dislikes hit you hard either, i havent seen your tracks but my advice is to spend time to make them a higher quality than all of the "recent" tracks, something to make yours stand out

i think the reason u got hate like that is how u posted it something to do with getting 100 likes tbh that track isn't worth 100 likes no offence, but it is a good track for u, so keep up the work some day u will get a really good track and u can always ask ppl that build good tracks for advice too, just don't start threads asking for lots of likes if u don't want to get hate like that, so good luck

Thanks! Its not the best, but I put an hour of effort into it, and It is nice to not have the first thing people comment is "kill yourself" and then say that any time they see I made a new track

 

I looked at your post history, and no one was mean to you or told you to kill yourself.

I'm here for you man. But real talk, people are going to dislike your tracks. There are people who have disliked Stig's tracks. People who have disliked Maple's tracks. People who have disliked tracks created by some of the most well-known authors. Did that get them down? No. They were fine because you know what? In the end, it was them who had improved in making tracks.

Thanks, It really means alot! I wish I could show you guys how much I really do appreciate the feedback, I am a freshman in high school, but I am a very sensitive person. Thanks for understanding.

 

The thing is, the people reading this forum thread are disliking them and not leaving positive feedback to help be see why they did not enjoy it. I understand that my most recent track is really short, because I was doing it in 5 minutes xD but my other tracks I spent a good bit on (1 hour) and they are receiving more dislikes, just because of this forum I guess my best bet is to not use the forum.

 

I see. If I were you I would start with some ramp jumps. (example: http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/172194-36-just-dirt-jumps) They are fairly simple to create, leaves a satisfying feeling when completed, and usually get's a lot of likes.

Well to me(I'm sure I interpreted this wrong) but to me I felt like meant it as an easy way to satisfy your needs for like and my tracks honestly aren't for likes mine are for fun most of my track consist of dirt jumps that are smooth. Idk what I was thinking but since it was a dirt jump track and not a ramps track I guess I misinterpreted it sorry.
