I really don't want him to get the nomination. I was ok with the idea at first, but it's way too risky. He funded and supported Hillary and Obama not too long ago, says it was his business reasoning, and he needed to be on good terms with everyone, but that just shows how selfish he is. he was willing to sacrifice the future of the nation for his own gain by helping put them in office. Not only that but he's been flip flopping parties his whole life, everyone is completely trusting that he's actually going to do everything he says. I just don't understand why Conservatives and Republicans are flocking to him.

Come on pssst join the true conservatives and support Cruz

He also funded and supported McCain and Romney. There's nothing wrong with doing it for business reasoning, it's not morally wrong or selfish to insure security through support. That's how every businessman/woman does it. I don't have a problem with him switching political parties throughout his life, throughout the majority of his interviews over the years I've watched, he always has sounded conservative, going back to the 80s. I also trust him a hell of a lot more than I trust all of the other candidates (specifically the politicians). In comparison, Trump appears to be the great equalizer; I cannot listen to all of the other candidates and believe anything they say.

I don't like Cruz either, he pretty much bandwagoned Trump's views, yet insults him. I do feel he isn't a "natural born citizen" too.

So doesn't it bother you at all that he supported Hillary and Obama, doesn't that show he's more concerned about himself than everyday people? He also said he gave Obama a b+, and said Hillary would make a good president, that goes farther than just supporting for the sake of his business. In contrast to Cruz who has been a conservative his whole life and has actually navigated the waters in Washington. To me the choice is clear. And even if you don't trust Cruz, just look at his record, he's actually done what he's said he would do. With Trump how can you be sure he'll deliver? His record certainly isn't consistent.

No it doesn't bother me at all. All successful businessmen support the government so the government will support them, and no, that does not make him selfish, wanting to protect your wealth isn't selfish. In Trump's shoes, I and any smart person would do the same thing.

I think you're exaggerating about Cruz. Cruz has only had one term and has been unsuccessful at everything, nothing he proposed was ever passed and only one bill he sponsored passed. And lol no, Trump has been consistently successful. If Trump is president, he will be the best jobs and business growth president since Reagan.

I'm not saying Cruz passed any bills, but he fought for everything he said he would, even when he knew he couldn't win, and Washington hates his guts for it. So at least you know he'll do exactly what he says. One major thing he did do though was stopped the gang of eight, which is huge. imo that would dramatically change this election. You'd hear Hillary talking about a new welfare plan for everyone or some bs

I do like Trump, he wrecked the media like no one else could and I enjoy listening to him, but I don't know his true character. I can't trust him to do what he says, which is why I won't support him.
