I say no. You don't need an alt. If you start making good tracks, people will see you differently, and look over the fact that you have some tracks that aren't so good. Many people have multiple alts; they just clog up the database and make people confused.
E: I see so many alts all over the place. In my head, they're all the same. Sometimes one will make a cool track, and then the account moves to the top of the "alts" list in my head. But still, it's the alt list: still at the bottom of the ladder. I see a new track by an alt, a ghost, and I just ignore it.

Besides it being against the rules, u don't have to. Why would you want to?Just post good tracks on your original account

    Well said.
If it's against the rules, forget it (unless you wanna get IP banned).

IMO, they want attention. Really, though, if you want attention you should just make a good track.
    Smart choice.

Most people make alts when they are banned, which is ok, as long as you learn from the ban, which is what sparklemotion said awhile back.

Just because you make an alt doesn’t mean that you will make better tracks. Almost everybody thinks that but it doesn’t happen.

i never knew the terms and agreements. I'm not saying you should make an alt, but most people have at least one, even if they don't use it. And btw, i asked char to ban my alts; he did, as far as i can tell.
