In the editor it would be handy if there is a toggle you can turn on called "Snap-to-line" or something like that. If you get near the end of another line, the cursor will snap to it, so you don't have to zoom in to find the exact point if you're not using the grid. It would be like the grid, except the cursor would snap to ends of other lines if they got near it. I make lots of autos, and generally I do those without the grid so I can be precise. I find it a pain to connect the lines together perfectly without the grid, and this "Snap-to" feature would help with that. Char

Great idea but, this is what the grid is for, besides, this could become annoying if the line would “snap to” the wrong line.
Its still a really cool idea though.
I think this would be great for newer players in particular, to get the hang of making tracks.

This would be for when not using the grid. Like if you need to be really precise with the grid off, this could be nice

You can already hold alt to snap to the last line drawn, but I think this would be super helpful!

Thanks for the support! If we get enough people behind it I bet the devs will notice

Not exactly... what I meant was kinda like this
    Screenshot 2018-03-29 at 7.17.10 PM.png
Say you wanted to make a line from point A to point B. (The scenery lines here are used as indicators to what point is A/B)
You start from point A, then go towards B. But the grid cannot reach where point B is, so you end up with a messy connection.
That leaves one choice, turn the grid off. With the grid off, it is a pain in the arse to perfectly connect to point B from point A without zooming in all the way.
The feature I had in mind would be as such (with the grid off):
    1. Start at point A
    2. Drag to point B
    3. As soon as the cursor got close enough (maybe half a unit?) the cursor would snap to point B, even without grid.
    4. Release
I might also add that this feature should be toggleable

    something like this?
    upload_2018-3-29_16-48-8.png
that would be the before, and say you could just mark where you want the line to move, i was gonna put a powerup to where i wanted it to move but it looked lame, anyway this is the after
    upload_2018-3-29_16-50-59.png
    is that correct?
