attempted the first pssst willow tree



not really how I wanted it but Im happy with the result so im keeping the tree, i plan to master these trees to rightfully earn the name treegang willow. i have ideas on how i will do the tree differently, but since i happen to like this one i will just call it "anonymous tree 1"

 

I need some help with bark on this tree. Thanks

I noticed that Woodland was opened on another tab. Whatever you do, just don't copy xwinx's or wave's bark. That's a bad thing to do

Exactly what I wasn't trying to do. I looked at woodland to see if they didn't use anything that looked cool, but waves already using that square bark lol so I don't have the foggiest idea

 

Any idea on what kind of tree youre going for? Do you intend to make the tree dark

 

No, it's gonna stay as just scenery. It's (going to be) one of those big willowy trees that crowd the rivers and line riverbanks

 

I would use the appearance of bark thats peeling, like this but better cuz im too lazy to make a good example and fill it in (used paint here) rn

Have the different colors bleed into each other a bit, it looks unnatural for some reason

 

I didnt intend on giving him the best example gotta let him do his own

 

Idk that's just what I was seeing. Might just be the pic but it looks like the white bark is slightly raised, idk how'd that be portrayed but it'd help to see

ok i know i already uploaded this, but i think i'm gonna do more tracks kinda like this in the future, but idk what to put on the inside. can some ppl gimme ideas for how to detail the inside of this track bcause i dunno
